Why you can't trust UberEats?

Today there are so many ways a customer could place an order with a restaurant. For a start, Uber eats, Menulog, Doordash, Deliveroo to name a few and that is no short of the number of online learning platforms.

There are already too many and the number is only set to increase in the coming days given the attractiveness of the business model. But the key differentiating factor between a third-party ordering platform and your own ordering system is that, a platform always exists to satisfy it's customers.

For example Uber eats will spend millions in acquiring new customers and would spend even more on retaining them, such that they continue to place orders via. the platform.

But on the flip-side Ubereats would not spend a dime on subsidising the cost for the restaurant partner's because at the end of the day they are here to serve their customers and not the restaurants.

This is really important for a restaurant owner to understand because you could never expect platforms to consider your welfare and act in your favour. That is why it doesn't matter how many platforms are around claiming to be your partner,

the cold truth is none of them could be your partner in business.

The only way for any restaurant to operate profitably is to continue be listed on 3rd party online ordering platforms, while meticulously focusing on creating their own online ordering system and find a way to build the customer database such that you as a restaurant could have a direct relationship with your loyal customers.

At Restoplus, our mission is to empower restaurant owners to have their own online ordering system which is at par with the big guys and also provide them with an extremely easy way to build and retain their customers by providing them with an awesome loyalty program and an easy-to-use push notification system for instant communication.
